How the Supreme Court Screwed Up America
The Supreme Court has arguably been the most destructive force in American political history, at least in reference to the Constitution as ratified. Through several landmark--and not so famous--decisions, it inverted the relationship between the general government and the States and crafted the modern "United State" through judicial usurpation.
By the last half of the twentieth century, the Court established the Fourteenth Amendment as the real Constitution of the United States and used it to bludgeon the States into submission on a host of social issues.
This course reviews 25 Supreme Court decisions through the lens of federalism and original intent and explains how each "screwed up America."
